Good Morning Warriors!
Lately, I have been focused on the words God spoke to me years ago when He said to me…
There is Power in just reading My Word.
God
I will never forget where I was at that exact moment. At that time, we were still in the church, serving as unto The Lord and loving every minute of it. During that time, the church we were attending was a place where you could go and have a real encounter with God.
We know we were called to be there for that time, and we also know it was God who took us out. We didn’t go looking for it, and never had any thoughts or plans of leaving that church, much less leaving everything and moving out of state.
But I digress.
Lately, it seems all I can think about are those words, “There is POWER in JUST READING My Word.”
Upon further reflection, it’s what God didn’t say that is just as powerful and potent. He didn’t say that He required we even understand everything we are reading JUST READ IT! He didn’t say that we must know it in both Greek & Hebrew and be able to debate the world’s most renowned Bible scholars in order for this Power to become available.
Just read The Word.
Since we laid down our businesses, our home, and our very lives and stepped out into the Valley of Job, I have spent my life energy trying to rebuild, trying to do something entrepreneurial in order to get back to a place of financial independence and beyond that in order that we might finance The Kingdom.
And for years, I have met with frustration after frustration as nothing has yet to ‘take off’ and get us to the place we desire to be.
Throughout the years, I have had some things seem to get some traction, but then before, it can seem to really take hold, it flat lines. Not because I quit or gave up or didn’t want it anymore. But many times, just out of nowhere, something would happen, and it would be gone.
And that is where we find ourselves yet again.
I had been working on a project recently that I had high hopes for, but it must not have been God’s plan because, during the short time I was pursuing it, I came under such a heavy, oppressive spirit that I was, on the inside, at least, inconsolable. I was miserable, and the minute Dean and I decided together that I should lay it down, that heaviness lifted off of me.
I say all that to say this, that those words God spoke to me that night have been ringing in my ears, and I feel as if now is the time to immerse in The Word like never before.
I don’t know about you, but I need Power in my life right now like I’ve never needed before. Not just strength to ‘endure’ but POWER from The God who created The Universe to break out and be able to accomplish something significant for The Kingdom. I desire to live in the kind of Power that enables me to see a stranger and be able to speak a Word of Knowledge to them that melts their hearts for God. I want to be able to wake up in that Power and be saturated with it all day. I want the Power that will enable me to accomplish my prophetic destiny.
I don’t know exactly why I’m sharing this with you this morning or what this will look like moving forward. Because of my personality, I find it very difficult just to sit and read. I’m a visual person, and I love video I love creating graphics and putting The Word to video. So that may be it; I’ll keep you posted.
One day years ago, after yet another failed attempt, I felt this feeling that sometimes I think (speaking for Dean and me) that our job was only to survive this thing until it was God’s time to bring us out. He reminded me of that recently, and based on our personal experience since arriving in ‘Jobville,’ I feel as if that is more true today than ever.
If you feel like you have been digging, clawing, scratching, and fighting dragons to make something happen and get where you feel in your spirit, you’re supposed to be, and you just can’t seem to make it happen. Just know that you are not alone. I believe there is a vast army of people like us who are just waiting for a suddenly, having no clue how God is going to take us from here to there, but believing He will, just the same.

I Bless you today in The Name of Jesus. In Jesus’ Name, I call down The Consuming Fire of God hotter than ever before to surround us and our homes and all we represent. In all our coming and going I declare The Consuming Fire of God goes before and is our rear guard. I call forth legions of angels to hearken to the voice of His Word and go to work bringing manifestation of The Promise that even as many fall it will not come near us. In The Name of Jesus, I curse and condemn every negative word, prayer, curse, hex, or spell released against us. I declare every generational curse null and void. I declare the Treasury of Heaven open on our behalf and that prosperity will abound too and through us to The Honor and Glory of God and to advance His Kingdom. I declare God’s Favor is our portion and will manifest in every way and every day of our lives! I declare our Gratitude and willing obedience will make room for us in our Father’s eyes. I declare all these things done and expect only a good report and outcome. In Jesus Mighty & Holy
