Roll Call 01.22.23 #2769
Good Morning Warriors!
I was having a conversation with my nephew, who has been awake most of his life recently, and he was lamenting about the condition of the world and how it seems we are powerless to do anything about it.
He is struggling because he knows there are many people who are earnestly and fervently praying, and yet nothing seems to be improving. In fact, the condition of the world seems to be deteriorating at Mach speed.
All I could tell him is that we are in a time when there is a separation of the wheat from the chaff, and our faith is being tested on a level we’ve never faced before.
It is difficult when looking from our perspective to understand why God doesn’t just start raining down targeted fire and brimstones upon the heads of these evil, wicked, vile luciferians that are bent on destroying mankind.
I’ve also given a lot of thought as to why it seems those with eyes to see and ears to hear, those who have a call on their lives, those whose faith is extraordinary seem to have suffered great loss because of that faith, seem to be in Joseph’s prison or Job’s place of suffering.
I told him that we are charged with the task of believing that God is aware of all of it and that in the end, His Will, Plan, and Purpose will prevail, the wicked will be dealt with, and all of His own will be vindicated.
One thing that came to me is that it seems God’s expectation is for us to be so Heavenly-minded that when He reveals to us His prophetic plan, as He did for Joseph in his dream, we are supposed to be unmoved by anything that happens between being given that revelation and its manifestation.
In other words, if Joseph were able to do that, he would have been in that pit thinking, this is awful, and I hate being here, but I am confident that I will not die here because God showed me something about my future and this is not it.
Is that how he reacted to being there? I highly doubt it. He was more likely traumatized, horrified, scared, and beyond. Then he ends up in prison for years for something he didn’t do, but when God did move, and he was taken to the place of his destiny, God never came back and apologized for all he had been through.
Have you ever noticed how nowhere in the Bible does it record God coming to Joseph in the pit or prison to comfort him, to remind him of His plan for his life, to acknowledge his pain and suffering on any level?
Same for Job.
After all of Job’s suffering and loss, when God did finally speak to him, not one word of concern for his suffering or compassion; instead, it was who are you to question Me? Yet He did not destroy Job for Job’s lamenting and questions. He restored to him double everything he had lost.
I think the message in this, or at least it is my opinion that this is the message, is that God is so unmoved by this mortal life, it is so fleeting and meaningless compared to who and what we really are and the eternity we will step into that His expectation of us that NOTHING should be able to shake or rattle us from being focused on the eternal.
That goes for us in this modern day as we face down the end times and all the insanity that is boiling all around us.
I think God’s expectation is that if we have been given ANY glimpse of His divine plan for us, our future selves, that nothing in between should shake us for a second.
I hope I’m able to bring this out, as I feel it was revealed to me.
Simply put, I think if asked, God would say that yes, He would expect us to be in a pit, and instead of being terrified, be confident that we will come out of this because God showed us a snapshot of our future condition, and this is not it.
I know, as for Dean and I, where we are now is not what God has shown us personally, nor does it match the many prophetic words that have been spoken over us.
That being said, I must conclude that regardless of all the threats and doomsday predictions flying around, we are still on our way to our destiny, and nothing the enemy can do will stop us from getting there.
